I'm learning how I percieve myself may not neccessarily be the way others percieve me.
That's hard for me to digest.
On my journey to self improvement, I'm going to write down how I perceive myself.
Then, I'm going to ask several of my friends to tell me how THEY perceive me.
How do those differ or are the same?
I'm a go with the flow kind of person. But I know that in order to improve myself I must analyze where I'm at now and where I want to be in the future.
My stepfather used to constantly ask me starting when I was about 12 years old. Where do you want to be in a year? In 3 years? In 5 years? Yes, I seriously think that's overkill for a twelve year old. I know now he had good intentions. He was trying to get me to think about my goals.
So after I get the perception thing over with. I'll start thinking about both long term and short term goals.
